Day 1Arrival in Marrakech

Depending on your arrival time, you may enjoy a short walk or relax at your accommodation. This first day is designed for rest and preparation before beginning your 10-day Morocco journey.

Day 2Marrakech Guided Sightseeing Tour

Travel through the Skoura Oasis, dotted with palm groves and ancient fortresses, then pass through the Roses Valley, known for its annual rose festival. Arrive in Dades Valley, famous for its winding roads and dramatic rock formations.

Day 4Dades Valley – Todra Gorges – Erfoud – Merzouga Desert

After breakfast, we’ll leave the hotel and head to the famous Kasbah Taourirt and Studios of Ouarzazate. After seeing these amazing places, we’ll drive towards Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah a UNESCO WORLD HERITAGE SITE, plenty of scenes from some movies such as “Gladiator”, “The Jewel of the Nile” and series such as “Game of Thrones” were filmed there. Following a walking tour inside the Kasbah, we will go back to Marrakech through the High Atlas mountains. Along the way, we’ll stop at places like Kasbah Telouet, which is one of the oldest Kasbahs in the High Atlas. From there, we will continue our journey to Marrakech, where our 4 Days Desert Tour from Marrakech to Merzouga ends.
 

Day 5Merzouga Desert Discovery – Rissani – Merzouga

Wake up early to witness a breathtaking sunrise over the Sahara Desert. After breakfast, enjoy a 4×4 excursion around the Merzouga region.

Visit nomadic Berber families, learn about their traditional lifestyle, and explore the historic Mifiss lead mine. Continue to Khamlia village to experience authentic Gnawa music, a unique cultural heritage of southern Morocco.

Later, visit the lively town of Rissani, home to one of Morocco’s most traditional markets (held on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays). After exploring the souk and interacting with locals, return to Merzouga for relaxation and free time.

Faq

What is the distance between Marrakech and Merzouga?

The direct drive from Merzouga to Marrakech is 554 km and should have a drive time of around 9H. Therefore, it will be broken up into two days as you will spend the first night in the Dades Valley or Ouarzazate. But, on the last day of our 3 days tour from Marrakech to Merzouga, you will have a direct drive back to Marrakech with few stops along the way.

Are the tents private or shared?

Guests are assured of their privacy in their own tents. During the tour, you’ll stay in comfortable pivate tents and rooms with all the amenities you may need.

Can we bring our luggage with us during the trip?

Of course, don-t worry, we have enough space in the car for the luggage during the tour.

How do i take my luggage to the camp?
